VOC Toolbox

ISRU deliver a number of Voice Of the Customer based courses. The Voice Of the Customer (VOC) is a term used in business to describe the process of capturing a customer's requirements. These courses have been delivered in a wide range of service, manufacturing and healthcare settings. Long term course benefits have included:

  • obtaining vital information on consumer preference
  • identifying key design requirements that will satisfy customers
  • designing products that evoke the required emotions in customers

The timescales, structure and running of the programme are designed to specification based on an understanding of the organisation's needs, objectives and current culture. Open day courses are often arranged at the University - see course dates.

The ISRU VOC Toolbox contains the following courses:

  • Questionnaire Design
  • Quality Function Deployment (QFD)
  • Kansei Engineering
  • Customer Relations Management (CRM)
