Practical Statistics 2

This course is a continuation of the themes introduced in the Practical Statistics 1 course.

Tools and techniques covered on this course can be used to answer questions such as:

  • How can I select a sample that is representative of my population?
  • How can I make my data normally distributed?
  • How can I make sure I have taken a large enough sample?
  • How can I test whether there are differences between factor levels?
  • How can I build a model to predict some output based on a series of inputs?

The course content includes sampling strategies, transformations, power and sample size calculations, analysis of variance (ANOVA), non-parametric tests and regression.

The Practical Statistics 1 course is a prerequisite.
