Lean Six Sigma

To successfully embed Lean Six Sigma methodologies and tools into an organisation requires a skilful and consultative framework. The particular strength which the ISRU team offers is an established combination of proven Lean Six Sigma knowledge and application with a strong pragmatic grounding in organisation development.

ISRU programmes are designed flexibly around the specific needs of each new customer, as we recognise that for Lean Six Sigma ‘off the shelf’ approaches are seldom wholly satisfactory. The team has significant learning design experience in service, manufacturing and healthcare settings including large pharmaceuticals. ISRU offer innovative approaches to delivery and structure in order to satisfy the requirements of clients.

ISRU Lean Six Sigma Implementation Programmes are delivered in three phases; Preparation, Learning Transfer and Evaluation & Forward Planning. The most intensive component of the programme is the Learning Transfer Phase, which enables Master Black Belt, Black Belt or Green Belt candidates to acquire the continuous improvement expertise and statistical skills required of an effective Lean Six Sigma practitioner. The Preparation and Evaluation and Forward Planning phases are as crucial to ensure that the organisation has an effective infrastructure and strategic plan to support Lean Sigma practitioner activities. Open day courses are often arranged at the University - see course dates.
